    The Aloha was too old to withstand the Lake Ontario’s furry during a storm and she began to leak in a gale and foundered when towed by the steamer C.W. Chamberlain. The crew members were saved but the captain drowned.


    The remains of the Aloha can be found near Nine Mile Point, Simcoe Island.

    Technical Information

    She is a fairly easy dive. Warm water, rich marine life, not too deep and a great visibility turn this site into a very pleasurable dive. The biggest part of the hull is still intact.


    The anchor and the windlass. Among the artifacts around the wreck, you will see her capstan and her Wheel.
