The Annie Falconer is a beautiful wreck well preserved. The wooden hull is in a good condition as well as the wheel which is still there. The stern is damaged and is lying on the starboard side. Her bow is the big question because two heavy anchors are ripping apart the ship. Fortunately, one of them felt but the second one is still there and is making more damages every year. Even a group of divers tried to move it away but are kept doing so by the authorities who don\'t want to have an historical site tampered with. For that reason, it's not safe to dive near the bow.Two small plaques has been installed on the Annie Falconer, one of them is white and is a warning to divers that the bow may collapse at aNew york time and is dangerous. The second one is made of black granite and is located on the port side. It will take all your attention to read the carved letters on this one. In one word, the wreck is in a good condition and is worth the trip.
